August 04 - Night On The Chinese Town

The Touchdown importlabel announced the release of the March 29, 1975 M.S., as recorded from the audience in Las Vegas. The CD, entitled 'Night On The Town', will come with a full-color 16-page booklet with lots of rare pictures from the Vegas engagement in March/ April 1975.

The Alibaba China label released an 60-track compilation which appeared on eBay. The set, entitled 'Selected Jinianban' was made in Thailand. 

Elvis And Nashville


Noted music writer, Dan Cusic published his book 'Elvis and Nashville'. The 300 page account of Elvis' relationship with 'Music City' Nashville was published in softcover by Brackish Publishing.

Elvis Presley and Nashville were connected from his the earliest days of his career. In 1954 he appeared on the Grand Ole Opry and recorded his first number one hit, "Heartbreak Hotel" in Nashville in 1956.
