Elvis Presley: Fashion King

Graceland opened "Elvis Presley: Fashion King," an exhibit displaying Elvis's everyday style, the New York Times reports. So what did The King wear offstage?

Not jeans, according to Kevin Kern, the director of public relations for Elvis Presley Enterprises. Presley grew up in public housing and "denim reminded Elvis of being poor, so he did not wear denim as an adult," Kern explained. He did, however, accessorize with guns, storing a Smith & Wesson and a Colt 45 among his belts and rings.
